In this innovative project, each of the short manga series comes as a series of strips that you can run through the player to hear some beautiful, music-box-style tunes as you read.
This beautiful example is designed by Daisuke Nishijima and is entitled “Before I Forget” – the same name as the famous song by Slipknot. The manga doesn’t play the Slipknot song but does share its Iowa-inspired landscape with a forest scene which also has the song’s title carved into the trees letter by letter. A beautiful and melancholy image, this music box and manga combination is sure to prove a deeply moving experience.
